The first steps in the team

Joining a company such as Renault Romania Group means being part of a team of about 117,000 employees worldwide, each of them an expert in a certain field of activity.

In addition, to be part of Renault Romania Group team means to make all your knowledge available for one strategy which develops continuously. The first year with Renault Romania is a key stage in the professional development of every employee, and for this reason an integration programme was created for guiding you and helping you become familiar with the new work environment. This is called "1st Steps", it is used throughout the Renault world and has its particularities depending on the country where it is implemented.

Through this programme Renault Romania Group creates the necessary conditions for new employees to discover the activities in Romania, from design to vehicle sale.

What is 1st STEPS@Renault Romania?

It is an integration itinerary consisting of training modules and sessions, developed in Renault Romania for integrating new staff; it lasts for 6 months and includes:

  • Welcome Day – a day when new staff discover Renault Group and Renault Romania Group: history, operating method, brands, car market, stakes, strategic axes and Renault's policy;
  • Proud of our products - training to present the vehicles produced at Mioveni, information about Dacia products, their competition, quality assurance from design to post-sale, as well as about each employee's individual contribution to achieving them.
  • The production session, when participants become familiar to the production process, and the visit to the Mioveni platform and the Technical Centre in Titu.
