Renault Technologie Roumanie (RTR) is the only automotive engineering center in Eastern Europe and Renault’s largest engineering center outside France, with over 2,400 engineers working in Bucharest, Titu, Piteşti and Mioveni.

In Bucharest, the more than 1,400 engineers develop and adapt projects for vehicles, and for mechanical parts equipping the Global Access models (Logan, Sandero, Duster), manufactured worldwide in numerous derivative versions. They are in charge with designing the parts and the systems, and then also the manufacturing processes for a range manufactured in 14 plants on 4 continents.

RTR is part of the global engineering network of the Renault Group that includes, besides the French nucleus, the regional centers from South America, Spain, India and South Korea. RTR is the largest center of the latter category and it has the most substantial diversity of professions. It is also the only center that has a comprehensive testing center – the Titu Technical Center.
