After Sandero, Dacia launches two new models which take over the „Stepway” name associated with the recreational universe.
Lodgy Stepway[1] and Dokker Stepway, a monovolume and a minivan with an adventurous look
With these new versions, Lodgy and Dokker display a more robust character and adopt a new personality inspired from the universe of crossover models.
The two versions have many specific design elements:
- front protection bars (and rear bars for Lodgy) in the car body colour,
- satin chrome front and rear shields,
- front fog lights with satin chrome ornaments,
- wheel arches with black protection elements,
- black door sills,
- Dark Metal design ornaments for the roof rails, exterior rear view mirrors and aluminium rims,
- and for Lodgy Stepway, a calender and a black upper calender strip.
Lodgy Stepway and Dokker Stepway are available in five car body nuances, including Bleu Azurite, and display a stripping with the name «Stepway» on the front doors. Both models express their robustness and dynamism characters already displayed by Sandero Stepway.
A specific interior and complete equipment
Lodgy Stepway and Dokker Stepway are provided with a specific tapestry with blue embroidery and seams.
The dashboard clocks and aerators also have a blue contour, and the same nuance is present around the central console. This creates a pleasant contrast with the other, dark grey interior design elements and highlights the dynamism of the Stepway versions.
Lodgy Stepway and Dokker Stepway manage thus to complete the current range of models and propose a large number of equipment (available in series or as optional equipment): the multimedia system MEDIA NAV, air conditioning, speed limiter/regulator or rear parking assistance. For an additional comfort in daily use, these models offer now new storage areas with a net on the back and sides of the front chairs.
Lodgy Stepway and Dokker Stepway, economic and good performance motorizations[2]
Lodgy Stepway is available in two motorization versions on gasoline: TCe 115 HP and 1.6 MPI 85 HP, both associated to a mechanical 5 speed gear box.
The TCe 115 HP motor has a consumption of only 5.7 l/100 km[3] for the 5 place version (for mixed use), which means in terms of CO2 emissions 131 g/km3 (5.9 l/100 km3 and 135 g/km3 of CO2 for the 7 place version).
The 1.6 MPI 85 HP motor has a mixed consumption of 7.0 l/100 km3, which results in CO2 emissions of 161 g/km3.
In the diesel version, Lodgy Stepway is available with the 1.5 dCi motor and develops a power of 90 or 110 HP.
This motorization has some of the lowest consumption values in its segment, namely 4.2 l/100 km3 (with CO2 emissions of 109 g3) and 4.4 l/100 km3 (with 116 g3 of CO2).
Dokker Stepway is available with one gasoline motorization and two diesel motorizations.
Dokker Stepway comes with the TCe 115 HP gasoline motor which has a fuel consumption of only 5.8 l/100 km3 in mixed use regime and CO2 emissions of 135 g/km3.
In the diesel version, Dokker Stepway is available with the 1.5 dCi motor and may develop a power of 75 or 90 HP.
This motor, which has already proved its economic qualities, has a fuel consumption of 4.5 l/100 km3 in a mixed use regime and CO2 emissions of 118 g / km3.
