Dacia, awarded by the French Automotive Press Association for its commercial success

The French Automotive Press Association gave Dacia its „Commercial Success Award”. The prize acknowledges Dacia’s commercial success on the French market, where sales soared in 2008 (33.6%), before Fiat and Mini. Last year, 43,682 Logan sedan, Logan MCV and Dacia Sandero were registered in France.

It is Dacia’s third award of this kind (2005, 2007, 2009) for its commercial succes. This year, the Romanian carmaker also ranked second, with Dacia Sandero, as “The Ecological Car”.

The French Automotive Press Association was founded in 1958 and gathers 150 journalists. The “Commercial Success Award” was first delivered in 1980 and followed by other 14 issues.

Dacia has been present on the French market since July 2005. Over 110,000 vehicles badged Dacia have been delivered on this market so far.
