George Enescu's Violin Tour

Dacia supports the third edition of the national tour George Enescu's Violin, organised by the Media Cultural Centre of Radio Romania together with Accendo Cultural Association, between 27 September - 15 October. The protagonists of this musical adventure, who travel in a Dacia Duster car, are violinist Gabriel Croitoru and pianist Horia Mihail.

The violin Guarneri del Gesu, which belonged to George Enescu, left for the first time the National Museum "George Enescu" (where it belongs now) to take a walk in the Bucharest parks and then stop in two towns in Tulcea county: Jurilovca and Greci.

The musical journey continued on 2 October, in Tescani, Bacău county, in the former mansion of Rosetti-Tescanu family, now part of the National Museum "George Enescu". The programme included popular pieces for violin and piano, as well as works of composers such as Tartini-Kreisler, Scărlătescu, Enescu, Dvorak or Saint-Saens.
