The first stage of the ecology and environment campaign „EcoAttitude (EcoAtitudine) = Responsability, Information, Action“, 2014 edition, developed with support from Dacia, was completed.

The winning schools in Arges County were awarded prizes within a festivity held at the ”MIOVENI Cultural Centre” at the beginning of June, in the presence of the county environmental authorities and the campaign partners.

The Secondary School in Vrăneşti was the big winner of the contest “EcoAttitude Recycling”. The prize consisted of a Smart magnetic board and was handed to the project manager, teacher Daniela Zainea. ”Marin Preda” School ranked second and won a movable basketball panel, while ”George Topârceanu” School ranked third and won a latest generation projection screen.

In the first stage of this year’s campaign EcoAttitude involved more than 33,000 pupils, public institutions, waste collection companies, 49 schools and was developed in 6 counties: Ilfov, Teleorman, Prahova, Argeş, Buzău, Vrancea and Bucharest.

More than 33.000 pupils were involved in this first stage of the campaign, who collected more than 57.379 kilogrammes of recyclable waste.

Dacia has supported the ”EcoAttitude=Responsability, Information, Action“ campaign for 3 years, with more than 800 children participating in the prize award galas and the ”Ecology Class” actions, where they could follow interactive magic shows on the importance of selective waste recycling and learned about environmental protection.
