12 teams out of the 14 registered in the Crossover category will drive Duster cars (Dacia and Renault) in the 24th edition of the Rallye Aicha des Gazelles held between 14-29 March in Morocco. This is the only motor competition in the world 100% for women, with an original approach to the motor competition: speed is not important, only the number of kilometres covered in relation with the fuel used. The gazelles need to have lots of inventiveness and strategic spirit: in order to connect the compulsory passage points they plan the route according to the relief constrains.

Dacia Duster won the Rally Aicha des Gazelles of Morocco in 2010 in the crossover category, driven by the Renault employee Isabelle Charles who was in charge with the colours and materials provided on Duster.

159 teams of 24 countries have registered this year: France, Germany, US, Switzerland, Italy, Canada, Belgium, United Kingdom, Portugal, Morocco, South Africa, Senegal, Vietnam, Angola, Congo, Egypt, Gabon, Nigeria, Indonesia, Norway, Yemen, Luxembourg, Columbia, Bulgaria.

Eager to face the sand dunes, the trained teams met in Paris on 15 March and then left for Morocco, the country where Domini Serra created this event 24 years ago to promote and support women’s courage.
