Sibiu Rally, the second stage on macadam of the season cand prove decisive in the economy of the Dacia JOE Cup. Cristian Turbatu mai play his "match ball" against Bogdan Stanoiev.
After three weeks of absence from Cluj Rally, the last stage on asphalt in 2007, the fight moves on the macadam in Sibiu. Leader of Dacia JOE Cup, Cristian Turbatu may get decisively near to the trophy, provided he wins against Bogdan Stanoiev. More than anything else, the winner from Sibiu will the one who will know best how to avoid flat tires.
The hardness of the route will make place for the chance to make any result possible and for the standings to turn upside down.
After missing the first stage on macadam this year, Alina Bunica will make her debut on a surface that is completely new from what the karting vice-champion was used to. This young hope trained at "Titi Aur" racing school for this special moment.
Member of parliament Victor Ponta has too attended the multiple national champion's school, and is now ready to copilot skilled George Grigorescu. The two will open the rally in a Dacia Logan. Pro TV reporter Septimiu Sarateanu will also copilot George Grigorescu, but this will not be his first experience, as the two teamed together in 2003, in Rally Moldova.
The start to the Rally Sibiu "Pirelli" is scheduled for Friday, 20 July, at 6.00pm, and the first race, the traditional Super Special wil take place on the circuit in Sibiu. The arrival of the 7th stage is on Saturday, 21 July, at 6.30 pm, after a rerun of the Super Special.
