Dacia will temporarily and partially cease its production activity in certain departments on the 20th and 21st November 2008. The decision was dictated by the need to adjust production to the evolution of the market.

The activity of the CKD Centre, of the Shipping and Finishing departments will continue according to schedule on the two days mentioned. At the same time, the production of gearboxes, as well as other activities pertaining to the Powertrain Plant will follow their usual schedule.

The employees who will not come to work consequent to the work interruption will be paid 85% of their gross salaries, according to the 2008 Dacia Collective Employment Contract, as well as the corresponding meal tickets, delivered in advance.
